The final lock-up for Bloom. It features a cicada in an implied triangle. The cicada represents a piece of life I left back in Indiana. No summer existed without the constant buzz of cicadas, some years their shells covered the trees and they flew in front of your face without fear. Summer's in Washington are quiet, the trees and air free of my fearless flyers. Something I never knew I would miss until they were gone. Coupled with my billboard the two speak to what growing and change has looked like in my life.

The logo for Bloom comes from a cicada confined to a triangle. Finding the applied shaped from the body of the cicada was difficult, a titered a fine line between abstraction and legibility.

The final form of the cicada features the same weight lines through out, sharp and rounded corners that are reflected in the text I chose.
