Alyssa is an artist and designer originally from NW Indiana now based in Seattle. Their design work is inspired by the intersection of fine art, contemporary graphics, and light-hearted illustrations. They see themself working to bridge the space between the digital world of graphic design and the physical world we interact with daily– exploring how good design can create great experiences. They see design as an opportunity to bring people together and shape the spaces that we interact with. Fueled by museum visits, civic design, working with their hands, and creative collaboration, their work explores giving common materials and nostalgic visuals a new life. They have their BA from Seattle Pacific University in Visual Communications and 3D media and are currently working as a fabricator for the artist John Grade.
